The Transit of Venus will be visible across many nations around the world and viewers will be able to see the rare Transit of Venus.
The next Transit of Venus does not occur until the 22nd century; 11 December 2117. So we encourage you to view Venus cross the disc of the Sun. BUT please ues all safe solar viewing protocols, the Sun is very strong; permanent eye damage can occur if safe solar viewing protocols are ignored.
All astronomical data uses Universal Time UT, which is interchangable and the same as Greenwich Meantime GMT: The Prime Meridian at Greenwich, London England.
